Sarah Ironmonger

Associate Director at Grant Thornton UK

Redhill, United Kingdom

About Me

Passionate about the public sector, I joined Grant Thornton in November 2012 from the Audit Commission.

I enjoy my role as regional lead for NHS Commissioners in London and the South East building on my knowledge as Engagement Lead for eight CCGs. The sector is facing significant challenges and it is fantastic to be able to share approaches that are working with colleagues and clients.

In addition to this role, I support our internal audit at an acute NHS Trust where our reviews are varied and in depth ranging from the traditional audit areas such as savings plans and governance to operational areas such as theatre utilisation and consultant workplans.

My local government role is just as varied and again it is a privilege to work with organisations responding to the financial and service delivery challenges. I continue to work with London Boroughs and District Councils in London and the South East as well as local authority owned companies.
